It's not easy to enter the electric vehicle (EV) market in Thailand, with every step entailing obstacles, especially high retail pricing.

There is perhaps less light at the end of the tunnel for small and medium-size enterprises (SMEs) looking to get in on the EV market.

But these negative factors have not made Wanchai Leenawatthana, from H SEM Motor Co, feel the pinch from localising an assembly line for electrified golf carts, motorcycles and tricycles in Thailand.
