A clothing shop in Bristol city centre is closing down.
Posters have appeared in the windows of Animal in Concorde Street, Cabot Circus, advertising a closing down sale.
The store, which stocks a range of clothing and accessories from the surfing-inspired brand, is offering at least 50 per cent off all stock ahead of its closure.
It is not yet known when the outlet's final day will be. Bristol Live has contacted Animal's head office and is awaiting a response.
In April Animal's owners, H Young Holdings, announced the brand would shut by January 2021 due to an "extremely challenging" retail market "further worsened" by the coronavirus pandemic, reported the BBC.
In a statement, the Newbury-based firm said: "As a result of the extremely challenging retail market which has now further worsened due to Covid-19, H Young announces it will be closing its Animal business by the end of January 2021.
"This will obviously be a very sad announcement for all Animal's hardworking employees and its loyal customers."
Up to 500 people work for the brand across 21 UK stores, while more than 300 other UK shops stock its products.
It is not clear what will happen to the staff who work at Bristol's Animal store.
Animal was founded in Poole, Dorset in 1987 and went on to become a leading lifestyle brand, particularly popular with those who partake in outdoor activities, such as surfing.
