Angus Kinnear provides Leeds United transfer update as he addresses Raphinha

Leeds United chief executive Angus Kinnear has confirmed the club have identified their summer targets and are working towards new arrivals at Elland Road.

The Whites are yet to open their chequebook this summer, though they have been linked with a host of players.

Left-back is an area of priority for United, with Ezgjan Alioksi yet to pen a new contract and Barry Douglas set to leave at the end of the month.

Matheus Cunha has been touted as a potential midfield addition, whilst Tyler Roberts has been tied down to a new contract.

Raphinha has been linked with a move to Liverpool too but Kinnear has insisted everyone in the Leeds camp wants to remain in West Yorkshire, whilst the wheels are in motion to strengthen their squad.

"Our transfer window is well underway," Kinnear told BBC Radio Leeds.

"Our targets have been identified, work with existing players has already taken place and we're in a really good place, Marcelo and Victor are very confident they can each what they want to achieve.

"Everything is all under control, all the players want to stay, we want them to stay. There are discussions being had that we're very confident of retaining everybody.

“We just need Kalvin to keep a little bit of a lid on it in the Euros because if he plays like that again we’ll get some offers, but we’re very confident."
