High street chain Argos have launched an investigation into an own-brand oven which customers claim falls apart, spurts steam, and, in one case, burned a hole in their kitchen floor.
One customer's dramatic video shows steam billowing from an oven door that can't be closed properly because it does not fit correctly.
The appliance at the centre of the complaints is the £260 Bush B60TCBX , a double oven which Argos describe as "perfect for a small family" and "ideal for bakes and roasts".
The furious customers have called on Argos - who are still stocking the model on their website - to investigate the issues.
Sharon Johnson, from Pickering, North Yorkshire, said: "I am still waiting on an engineer from Bush to look at the cooker I bought from yourself less than a month ago.
"The door doesn't seem to close properly hence this."
Her video shows steam billowing from the oven because faulty hinges mean the door cannot be closed properly.
She added: "To be honest, I will just ask for my money back I cannot let any damages happen as it is a rental property."

On Monday, Candice Nwanno, from Kent, posted images of her six-week-old cooker to Facebook .
Candice recently came home to find her oven door shattered and in pieces across the floor.
She uploaded the pictures to Facebook, which appear to show bits of the black cooker on the floor and the door lying on the ground.

She wrote: "Six week old cooker. Phoned over three weeks ago about the door falling off after untold call and untold complaints.
"Now money out of my own pocket I come home to this. I told you Argos that someone would get hurt but no.
"You don't listen. Only want the money. Well, well done no cooker and poor dogs have been in the kitchen with this all day and still no reply from you.
"This is the last straw Argos. Lawyer it now."

Mark McNamara, from Sunderland, Tyne and Wear, commented on Sharon's post sharing his experience of the cooker claiming an engineer from Bush "condemned the cooker".
He wrote: "We purchased a Bush cooker for my daughter in December and the door actually fell off.
"Took three days to finally get through to an engineer. Because we purchased it for her and we had to get the serial number for it, which was on the back or side so it had to be pulled out.
"When my daughter removed the cooker there was a massive burn hole in her floor which obviously has damaged the floor.
"Now when the engineer came to look at it he condemned it and said that should never had happened as there was some kind of material underneath inside the cooker which has all burnt and melted."
An Argos spokeswoman said: "We have apologised to Candice and Sharon and are in touch with them to arrange a collection and refund.
"We have also reassured them we're taking their experience very seriously and investigating with our supplier."
