Angry Scots holiday maker takes on one of world's biggest airlines in row over lost luggage

An angry holidaymaker is suing KLM for losing his luggage during a dream trip.

Mathew Santos was left in Italy without his case.

The 32-year-old was forced to shell out £950 on clothes for a wedding there, plus three weeks in the US.

He said KLM admitted losing his suitcase but only gave him documentation to claim £250.

Mathew, of Largs, Ayrshire, has lodged a claim at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court in a bid to recover the rest of the cash. KLM has been approached for comment
