A car park in North Yorkshire has been dubbed "the UK's tightest" by angry motorists due to its "ridiculous" small parking spaces.
Castle Car Park in Tower Street, York, consists of 268 spaces that are so closely packed its almost impossible to squeeze out of the door without bumping a neighbouring car.
For years locals have slammed the "nightmare" facility - which has also been criticised for its steep prices.
Some irate drivers have said it would be less expensive to park illegally and get a fine than pay to leave their car there, reports Yorkshire Live.

Resident Paul Hagston said: "Castle Car Park has got to be the tightest car park in the country.
"If you can manage to get parked and manage to squeeze out of your car (you’ll need to weigh under two stone ideally) which is virtually impossible without banging the car next door, you need to then take a loan out to pay for your stay."
He added: "It’s an absolute nightmare trying to get parked in there."

Others on social media agreed.
One person said: "I hate this car park! It’s so stressful! And even I struggle to get my car out and it’s only a Corsa would hate to have a bigger car in there."
Another said: "I avoid it like the plaque! Best place for door dents and damage!"
A third wrote: "It costs more money to park there for a full day than it does to not pay, get a ticket and pay the fine!"
While a fourth said: "Hate it, refuse to park there, ridiculous spaces."
And one resident, seeing the humour in the situation, said: "Why not do what I do- park in Tadcaster and walk into York- much cheaper, you get exercise and you can pop into Tad kebab on your way back- what more could you ask for?"
Plans are currently being drawn up by City of York Council to transform the area around Clifford's Tower, which will see the closure of Castle Car Park.
The proposals include a play area, events space and potential extension to York Castle Museum.
