Angry Celtic fans miss Kyogo goal as club's PPV stream suffers untimely crash

Opposition defenders are having a hard time spotting Kyogo Furuhashi but Celtic fans were left with no chance on Wednesday night.

The club's PPV stream for the Europa League play-off against AZ crashed at just the wrong moment and missed the Japanese forward's well-taken opening goal.

Kyogo stretched to volley home a stunning Tom Rogic cross as Ange Postecoglou 's side drew first blood in their tussle with the Eredivisie side.

The delay was enough to provoke considerable ire on Twitter, including from club legend Chris Sutton.

Responding to a fan enquiring where they could watch the game, he replied: "Celtic TV although it's crashed at present..."

He wasn't the only one left wondering what had happened, with supporters having plenty to say on Twitter.

Some posted images of the same error message that appeared to largely resolve within a few minutes.

@Milanou wrote: "Would've been nice to have been able to see the goal. Don't offer PPV if you can't handle the load. Regular Celtic TV subscribers get screwed over as well in the end."

@Monty_Bhoy wrote: "@CelticTV not working again. 350 dollars for a subscription and can’t even get the game"

@mdoherty1888 said: "No chance of seeing that on PPV though. SORT IT OUT"

@blw76 said: "Well if the PPV hadn’t crashed for everyone we would have seen it"

@TannyBoguss posted: "Would be nice to watch on CelticTV if given the chance"

@TheCoppensShow said: "Sure would be nice to be able to catch it on @CelticFCTV …you know, since we paid for it through the nose here in the USA."

@AndyMc75 wrote: "I missed it because of your poor service"
