An angry Philadelphia Phillies fan has sparked outrage online after taking a home run ball from a father and young child.
TV cameras spotted the moment Phillies outfielder Harrison Bader sent a home run into the stands during Friday's win over the Marlins, prompting a typical scramble from fans to claim the ball.
One father had walked across a number of empty seats to beat others to the ball, before striding back and handing it to his son.
However, he was followed back to his seat by a fan, who visibly shocked the man by demanding he give the ball to her.

Video footage shot from nearby seating captured the woman repeatedly saying "you took it from me" and "it was in my hands", before the father relented and handed it to the woman and waved her away.
Footage of the incident quickly went viral on social media, and the Phillies acted quickly to make sure the child did not go home empty-handed.
Further video footage shows a member of Marlins staff giving the child a free goodie bag of merchandise, and after the game, he met Bader who gave him a signed bat.

Comments on social media, claiming to be from other fans at the game, said the woman left before the end of the game after being booed by spectators nearby.
Others on social media suggested that the woman was not in the wrong, as the ball had flown towards her and the man had to move across several seats to claim it.
