Young children are reported to have found a batch of tablets at an Eleventh night bonfire site in Bangor .
A concerned local alerted Belfast Live to the find at the Bloomfield estate on Saturday.
They said: "Young primary school aged children found a batch of tablets on Bloomfield estate bonfire, Bangor.
"It is a dumping ground and it is not very well managed to keep within the councils guidelines of wood only."
The bonfire builders also vented their anger at the find on social media.
They posted a picture of the tablets found in the area on their Facebook page, adding: "What an absolutely disgusting thing for the children in our community to find.
"This is a massive reminder that our bonfire fields are NOT a dumping ground for house hold waste.
"The outcome of this could have been a very different story!!!!! These drugs will now be disposed of appropriately in a drug bin."
