In January, the former Longhorns baseball star and current Angels closer put his lakefront home in Austin, Texas, on the market for $5.4 million. Now he's listed a second house in the area for sale at $2.95 million.
Marked by a metal roof and stone facade, the Tuscan-inspired contemporary rests on more than a third of an acre in Woodman Forest, a subdivision located about two miles west of the University of Texas at Austin campus.
Within the 5,400 square feet of space is a formal living room with a fireplace, a center-island kitchen, a library/study, a wet bar, five bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms. Hand-scraped wood floors, limestone walls and vaulted ceilings with exposed trusses are in keeping with the rustic quality of the home.
French doors off the common areas open to a large covered patio with a built-in barbecue. Another covered patio sits at the entrance of the home.
Street purchased the property last summer for about $2.65 million, records show. It was valued at $2 million in 2014, according to Travis County Appraisal District records.
