Angelina Jolie 'wants Brad Pitt back and to be a family again' in shock u-turn

Angelina Jolie reportedly wants to get back with Brad Pitt and "be a family again".

The actress has apparently done a shock u-turn and told her ex she wants to give their marriage another go.

However, sources tell The Sun that he's not keen but is desperate to keep things amicable for the sake of the kids.

“Angelina has made it clear to Brad that she wants to be back in a relationship with him. She would like them to be a family again and doesn’t seem capable of moving on," the insider told the publication.

Furthermore, it's claimed that's the reason why she's apparently dragging her feet in their less than amicable divorce.

"That’s why she is making it so difficult for Brad with every detail of their divorce. Brad has consistently kept his mouth shut because all he cares about is his kids.

“Angelina is making it horrendous for him and drawing out the process, but it’s not going to make him consider going back. He just wants it all settled — in reality, this could have been over a year ago — but she won’t let go.”

Mirror Online has contacted Angelina's rep for comment.

The former Hollywood power couple, who are parents to Maddox, 17, Pax, 15, Zahara, 13, Shiloh, 12, and 10-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne, separated in September 2016 after a more than 10-year romance and two-year marriage.

Just weeks after their shock split Brad was investigated by the FBI over claims he physically abused his eldest Maddox whilst drunk on a private jet.

The charges were later dropped and their bitter custody battle was finally resolved last December.

"A custody arrangement was agreed to weeks ago, and has been signed by both parties and the judge," Angelina's lawyer Samantha Bley DeJean said in a statement.

"The agreement, which is based on the recommendations of the child custody evaluator, eliminates the need for a trial. The filing and details of the agreement are confidential to protect the best interests of the children."

The couple have yet to reach a final divorce settlement.
