At the premiere Elle Fanning wore a a gorgeous sea-foam green ballgown with mesh details and bell sleeves. Angelina wore a stunning silver dress with a bejeweled top and gold bodice.

Jolie's children, Zahara, Shiloh, Vivienne and Knox all joined her on the carpet. Her daughter Zahara gave her mother a run for her money in a stunning black and white gown, while Vivienne donned a navy blue jumpsuit and a white shirt. Shiloh and Knox were more dressed down, but they all looked to be enjoying their time on the red carpet.

Maleficent: Mistress of Evil is the much anticipated sequel to 2014's Maleficent. The film sees Angelina Jolie take on the titular character for the second time.

The film takes place five years after the original movie left us with Maleficent as the protector of the Moors, a magic forest realm boarding a human kingdom.

The sequel follows the tale of Aurora's engagement to Prince Phillip, which leads to his mother Queen Ingrith to try and separate the fairy world and the human world forever.

Maleficent: Mistress of Evil will be in theaters from October 17th 2019.
