Actress and humanitarian Angelina Jolie has made a poignant point about the ongoing coverage of the Paris attacks on her Facebook page.
In the post, the 40-year-old wrote how most people's attention has been focussed on the French capital while, in Lebanon, another tragedy occurred the day before which "no one mentions".
She wrote, alongside a powerful image of the explosion in Beirut: “Whilst everyone talks about Paris no one mentions the ISIS attack in Lebanon yesterday. I pray for both countries.”
The death total in Paris currently stands at 129, with 352 others injured, with ISIS reportedly taking responsibility for the tragedy.
In Lebanon, another attack took place, also by the militant group, with two suicide attackers killing 'at least 43 people' in the deadliest bombing in the capital since the end of Lebanon's civil war in 1990.
Lebanese Prime Minister Tammam Salam called for unity while Lebanon holds a day of mourning for the victims.
