Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's son Maddox unveils large dragon tattoo in rare appearance

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's son Maddox revealed that he has a large dragon tattoo across his ribs.

The 19-year-old, who was adopted by the former couple in 2002, made a rare appearance alongside his mum for an upcoming Vogue shoot.

In the snap, Angelina tenderly fixed her son's hair while he gazed into a mirror for the black and white snap.

The topless teen also appears to be quite the fan of tattoos - much like his mum - and showed off two large ink jobs in the candid snap.

Maddox has a large traditional dragon tattoo across his ribs, while another smaller tattoo was visible on his wrist.

Maddox, who was born in Cambodia, is Angelina and Brad's eldest son - however it is believed that Maddox is not close to his adoptive father.

The former couple also co-parent Pax, 17, Zahara, 16, Shiloh, 14, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 12.

Other pictures in Angelina's upcoming Vogue shoot includes lots of candid snaps with her gorgeous family.

During her interview with Vogue, Angelina also opened up about her motherhood journey and coming to terms with being a stay-at-home mum.

“Well, I was never very good at sitting still," Angelina told the publication.

"Even though I wanted to have many children and be a mom, I always imagined it kind of like Jane Goodall, travelling in the middle of the jungle somewhere.

"I didn’t imagine it in that true, traditional sense. I feel like I’m lacking in all the skills to be a traditional stay-at-home mom.

She added: "I’m managing through it because the children are quite resilient, and they’re helping me, but I’m not good at it at all.”

The couple were then legally separated in 2019 but also faced a tough legal battle for custody of their children.

Elsewhere in her interview, Angelina also admitted that she had faced a difficult few years but was now focusing on 'healing' her family.

She added: "The past few years have been pretty hard. I’ve been focusing on healing our family. It’s slowly coming back, like the ice melting and the blood returning to my body.”
