- She told Sky News’ Electoral Dysfunction podcast that she has referred herself to Sir Keir Starmer’s ethics advisor over the property purchase.
- Ms Rayner confirmed she will pay the additional property tax, with experts estimating the bill could be as much as £40,000.
- She said that the underpayment was due to inaccurate legal advice she received regarding the purchase.
- Ms Rayner has also contacted HMRC to address the additional tax owed on the property.
