Angel Rangel makes admission over his QPR future after 'rollercoaster' season

He's established himself as a firm fans' favourite at Loftus Road, but Angel Rangel's future at QPR seems to be in doubt.

The defender moved to west London last summer on a short-term deal after leaving Swansea City, and wasted little time in forging a real connection with the QPR fans.

Queens Park Rangers moved to extend his contract to the end of the season, however a number of injuries have disrupted the second half of his campaign.

Luke Freeman's future, the season verdict and a glimpse into the future - QPR talking points

Rangel's future is once again in question with a number of QPR players' contracts set to expire this summer, and in a message posted on social media the 36-year-old admitted that his future at the club is up in the air.

He said: "18/19 has been a roller coaster but I take the respect and professionalism from everyone in this picture and the love of our fans throughout the season!

"I don’t know yet what the future will bring but I’d like to thank QPR  for letting me be part of this great family club!"
