MANILA, Philippines — Angel Locsin was still giddy over her engagement to boyfriend Neil Arce when she faced TV host and journalist Korina Sanchez in an interview on Rated K, Sunday, July 14.
The couple, who confirmed they were in a relationship in 2018 got engaged in June.
During the interview, Sanchez asked if she was ready to be a married woman. The General's Daughter star said: "Siguro naman po. Reading-ready na!" (I guess so. I'm very ready.)
"[I'm] very excited. Si Neil ang nakaisip ng lahat nito. (It was Neil who thought all of this.)"
When Sanchez mentioned that she was the type of person who wants to be ready at everything, Locsin agreed. "I think it's better to be ready than to be sorry. Kaya kailangan handa (That's why one should be ready.)"
Locsin and Arce started out as friends and, at certain points, were in a relationship with different people. Locsin dated TV host Luis Manzano, while Arce, a movie producer, was in a relationship with actress Bela Padilla. — Rappler.com
