I really did like this book. Okay, the cover annoyed me and the fact that her high-school nickname was Queen Weird was so irritating that I almost stopped out of principle. I chose to forgive this because of how well written it was and how good the plot it was. I'm going through a sort of angel phase at the moment, so I was like 'hey, this book is called Angel, let me read it before I explode' and I bought it and I read it, then I read the next one, then I read the next one. It was good, it really was.
The book was on a really big scale, especially the second and third ones. I was quite amazed actually. It was quite frustrating sometimes but mostly, it was nice to read.
Basically, Willow is a half-angel and she meets this really awesome angel killer and they team up to save the world and everyone on it.
I found it a bit odd that some of it was written from first person and some of it from third, but I decided to let that slide (I'm normally totally annoyed by that, e.g. the last Divergent book) because you know, it was called Angel.
It was clever, it really was. Quite original, quite entertaining, quite an easy read. I would give it a 4 out of 5, because I am harsh.
