Ange Postecoglou urged to 'attack' Rangers as Celtic legend tells boss the most important thing he needs to bring

Lubo Moracvik insists Ange Postecoglou's Celtic must go after Rangers from the first day of next season.

The Parkhead legend has told the new boss the "most important" thing he must do is re-establish an exciting brand of football at the club.

He knows fans are expecting vast improvements on last season's 10 In A Row dream-turned-nightmare and that Postecoglou must be ready for it.

The Slovakian stressed that whatever the 55-year-old was used to in Japan and Australia no longer applies as he attempts to dethrone Steven Gerrard and his Premiership champions next season.

He told Sky Sports: “It’s not important if he was in the J-League or in the Australian league, the most important thing is the style of football he will bring to Celtic Park.

"Celtic fans are expecting something better than last season, and it’s not going to be easy because Rangers are a very solid team, a very physically strong and Celtic have to bring something new and fresh.

"It’s very important that from the first game they are ready to attack Rangers from the first game.”
