Ange Postecoglou tells Celtic he wants Tottenham managerial job following Daniel Levy decision

Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou has told the Scottish giants that he is keen to become the next Tottenham Hotspur manager, according to recent reports.

Spurs have been searching for their next permanent head coach, with chairman Daniel Levy missing out on the likes of Julian Nagelsmann, and most recently Feyenoord's Arnie Slot. But The Daily Mail have now reported that the north Londoners are set to make a formal approach for Postecoglou on Monday after the Australian made it clear to his Celtic superiors that he is interested in making the switch to N17.

The Lillywhites now hope to progress a deal once they are granted permission and final talks can take place. The 57-year-old is also said to be eager to bring Celtic assistant John Kennedy with him following a hugely successful season for the Glaswegian side, who clinched a domestic treble after defeating Inverness 3-1 in the Scottish Cup final over the weekend.
