Ange Postecoglou screams at Spurs fan amid Arsenal title suggestion

This is the moment that former Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou lost his temper with a Tottenham fan last night.

Spurs lost 2-0 at home to Manchester City as their hopes of finishing in the top four and therefore qualifying for the Champions League were extinguished.

A double by prolific striker Erling Haaland sealed all three points for the Premier League leaders - who now look certainties to lift a fourth successive title. City are two points clear of nearest challengers Arsenal heading into the final game of the season on Sunday.

Tuesday night's encounter in north London was a slightly strange situation for Spurs for the simple reason that should they have won the fixture, they'd have provided a huge favour to bitter rivals Arsenal.

The Gunners were a point clear of Pep Guardiola's men at the top of the table before City's game-in-hand at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Of course, with City winning, this deficit has now been overturned, and they look more than likely to beat Arsenal to the title.

All week, callers on radio shows like talkSPORT or fans on social media have speculated that they - as Spurs supporters - wouldn't mind losing to City in order to severely damage Arsenal's chances of winning the league.

And it appears one fan at last night's game got too much for Postecoglou, who eventually let rip.

Footage widely shared on social media showed the Australian having a right go at the supporter situated near the Spurs dugout. It's claimed the fan repeatedly suggested Spurs should intentionally sabotage Arsenal's chances of winning the league.

From the clip, with his voice raised, the 58-year-old is heard saying: "What did you say? What did you say before that? Just so I know who you are. I got you. I know who you are."

Spurs are on a dreadful run of five defeats in their last six games. They overcame Burnely on home soil at the weekend in a 2-1 victory, but aside from that, it's been a poor end to the campaign for Ange's first season.
