Ange Postecoglou's Celtic title speech in full as he makes cheeky Michael Beale Rangers 'lucky' jibe

Ange Postecoglou gave a cheeky smile to end his speech as he jibed at Michael Beale's 'lucky man' comments whilst Celtic were in party mode as they lifted the title.

99 points accrued across the season saw the Hoops lift the title at a jubilant Parkhead, where spirits were lifted even further after they drubbed Aberdeen 5-0 on the final day with Kyogo and Oh both scoring braces. As with last season, a speech by captain Callum McGregor was followed with a rousing crusade by Postecoglou.

Already famed for his 'we never stop' speech at the end of last season when they lifted the title at Parkhead, Postecoglou delivered this season's in a similar manner, with the crowd cheering him after every sentence. But one particular sentence had the crowd howling - with the Aussie dubbing himself 'a lucky man' for comments made by Rangers boss Beale earlier in the season.

Beale said earlier in the season: “He’s a very good coach. I’ve known of him for a long time. Firstly he’s a very good man on a personal level as well. He’s done a fantastic job but in this country there are two coaches who are more lucky than the others. I’m one of them but certainly he is as well.”

But on a title day in the east end, Ange had the final laugh. Speaking on Sky Sports as he addressed the home crowd, he said: "Now, we're champions again because of this incredible group of players, brilliantly led by our skipper, Callum McGregor.

"Champions again, because of this unbelievable group of people working behind the scenes - our staff, outstanding.

"Champions again, because of you. In the words of the immortal Tommy Burns, you are always there. Always.

"Champions again, because I am a lucky man!

"And we've got one more to go! We never stop!"
