Celtic diehard Alan Brazil has warned Ange Postecoglou to tone it down in his interviews after seeing his spiky post-match to-and-fro with the BBC's Liam MacLeod.
The broadcaster drew a curt response from Postecoglou when he suggested Wednesday night's Champions League exit at the hands of Midtjylland was a "catastrophe".
"It's pretty strong language mate," the manager responded. "I don't know what your version of catastrophic is but it certainly doesn't fit my definition of what happened tonight."
That has alarm bells ringing for Celtic fan and former Scotland cap Brazil who reckons the newcomer to Scottish football should "go easy".
Speaking on talkSPORT's Sports Breakfast, Brazil began: "He's Aussie, right. 'Bit strong mate, bit strong mate'.

"He wants to just go easy with his press up there because if they think, 'whoa, this guy is way out of his depth', they will sharpen, and sharpen, and sharpen."
Asked by co-host Jamie O'Hara if Postecoglou was just trying to take the heat off, Brazil added: "Well yeah, but there's ways of doing it.
"You could say, 'guys, I'm gutted'. You don't have to say, 'bit strong mate, that means the end'. He's being aggressive, you give it to me I'll give you it back.
"I'm not sure this is the time to do that.
"I think it would be a case of, 'guys, you've got a point, it's disappointing, we felt we should have won in the first leg and we've had a few problems, we're devastated in that dressing room but we go to Hearts and kick off our SPL, it's a huge disappointment but we will overcome that'.
"That's the way I'd play it. It's common sense.
"Don't pick a fight with them already because if the next few games go wrong then wow! He's going to get a barrage of knives in his back.
"I don't think he's gone about it the right way there after the game in the interview."
