Spurs defeated their English Premier League rivals by a goal to nil, as Brennan Johnson's first-half strike proved the difference between the sides.

It is Spurs' first trophy in 17 years, with Postecoglou ending their lengthy drought for silverware. The 59-year-old took charge of the North London club in the summer of 2023, leaving behind Celtic after winning a treble.

The Parkhead club has had 19 permanent managers in its 137-year history. Postecoglou is the first to have left and thereafter won a European trophy.
