Ange Postecoglou says he's 'very confident' of multiple new Celtic signings before the transfer window closes.
The Australian is steadily getting his squad into shape and four wins on the spin hint that the Parkhead side are moving in the right direction.
But Postecoglou has made no secret of the fact he is far from happy with the squad as it stands with a lack of depth at right-back, out wide and up front causing particular concerns.
Odsonne Edouard and Ryan Christie have both been heavily linked with moves away and may yet leave before the window closes.
The manager is focused on incomings though even after Joe Hart and James McCarthy added some much-needed experience to his ranks.
He said ahead of their Europa League clash with AZ Alkmaar: "We just need players and I've said that consistently from the start.
"We're working hard. It's not an easy market to get deals done.
"I can at least now confidently give a deadline because the deadline is actually coming up,
"I'm pretty confident we'll have players in before the transfer deadline. Not pretty confident - I'm very confident.
"It's just a matter of timing and getting things done. It's not as straight forward as it used to be.
"We're very close to a few deals I think. We just need to keep doing what we're doing. Stay focused and disciplined.
"Make sure we get the right players in and once we do it'll help us enormously because we're putting a big workload on a core group of players at the moment".
