Ange Postecoglou is adamant Odsonne Edouard will give everything for Celtic at Ibrox as Bordeaux joined the transfer race for the striker.
The hitman is the subject of late-window interest from his homeland with Russian outfit Rubin Kazan also reported to be willing to splash out the hefty fee.
Edouard, who has just one year left on his deal, is also being eyed by English sides such Crystal Palace and Brighton.
Both he and Ryan Christie, whose deal is up at the end of the year with interest bubbling from Burnley, could well be making their final appearances for Celtic against Rangers tomorrow.
Postecoglou, who is closing in on the signing of Georgios Giakoumakis with a medical scheduled, admits the definitive decisions before Tuesday’s close of deadline will onto the duo.
But he’s also adamant they’ll put in a shift for him at Ibrox is asked and pointed out the significance of their previous efforts during a trophy-laden spell.
Postecoglou said: “I have stopped hoping or fearing about those exits. What I saw was Ryan gave everything in Alkmaar to get us the qualification and worked his socks off.
“Odsonne when he came on was outstanding. That’s all I can deal with. What’s in front of me. We’ll see what happens over the next few days.
“What I do know is those guys feel for this club and give everything when wearing our shirt and that’s important.
“Because, irrespective of whether exits happen or not, you can’t take away from the fact they have contributed greatly to this club and they want to keep doing that.

“I’m keeping an open mind. It’ll be great if they stay, but think these decisions fall on the players themselves to make the best for their careers.”
While keeping an eye on the departures, Postecoglou secured another arrival after Irish defender Liam Scales completed a £600,000 switch from Shamrock Rovers.
The 23-year-old has penned a four-year deal and will join his new team-mates for training at Lennoxtown this morning.
Postecoglou is holding fire on a decision over Scales’ potential involvement at Ibrox with Greg Taylor fighting to recover from a shoulder injury and Adam Montgomery performing superbly when thrust into the line-up as a sub against AZ Alkmaar.
He said: “I’m pleased to get Liam. We’d been working on that for a while, but Shamrock had been involved in European competition and were keen to hold him as they were doing well, which was okay by us.
“It’s finally great to get him in. He’s a good young talent who can play a couple of positions and adds quality and depth to our squad, which we need.
“He’ll have a session hopefully on Saturday and then we’ll make a decision. “The international break is coming which will be good to let him settle in a bit, but we’ll assess it.
“Monty was brilliant when he came on against AZ. We knew the way the game was going we would have to do a bit of defending and it wasn’t going to be an easy ride.
“I thought he handled it outstandingly for his years. You look at our defence and lads there are Celtic boys who have come through the system.
“Speaking to Greg after the game, he felt his shoulder wasn’t too bad. We’re still hopeful he’ll be available.”
