Ange Postecoglou in Celtic 'stay alert' transfer tease as boss hints he's not done yet

Ange Postecoglou hinted Celtic aren't done yet as he stands ready to deliver more signings.

The Parkhead boss has already sewn up deals for J-League trio Daizen Maeda, Reo Hatate and Yosuke Ideguchi but vowed not to rest until the window closes.

Postecoglou 's side are chasing down Rangers in the Premiership title race and return to action against Hibs on January 17 with added depth.

Celtic have opened talks with Tottenham over a permanent deal for Cameron Carter-Vickers and could do the same to sign Jota from Benfica.

And the manager will keep his squad under constant review as he insisted he won't hesitate to make further additions.

"Not too busy, but you've got to stay agile through this period," he told Celtic TV.

"We've had a couple of players go out on-loan which is also important.

"So we're looking at the squad through the whole January window.

"We'll make sure that what we need - if it's available - we'll bring in.

"And with the existing squad we'll make sure we continue to develop our football.

"I don't expect it to be too hectic but we'll stay alert and make sure, if the right thing comes along, both in terms of incomings and outgoings, we'll be able to move."
