Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou has praised his side for showing staying power as they hit three past Ross County.
The Celts struggled to get going in the first half of their Premiership win at Parkhead.
However, they sprung into life in the second 45 with a long-range strike from debut boy Cameron Carter-Vickers and brace from peripheral figure Albian Ajeti securing them all three points.
The win keeps the Hoops on the tails of the pack at the top of the table - Rangers, Hearts, Hibs and Motherwell - after a tricky clash against the Staggies.
"It's one we had to persevere in," Postecoglou said, speaking to BBC Radio Scotland.
"I thought second half we were more disciplined in our approach and got our rewards.
"I think how I'm feeling is irrelevant to the whole equation.
"Missing chances is down to a bit of fluency missing. That's Albian's first game in ages, Jota's first game for the club. It's different from having (injured star) Kyogo (Furuhashi).
"But if you score goals here it opens the game up and we did that."
Postecoglou was particularly happy for Ajeti as the Swiss striker scored his first goal in green and white since February.
The Bhoys gaffer added: "It's perseverance from him.
"He didn't let the fact he missed a couple of opportunities mean he dropped his head.
"He stayed in dangerous positions and got his rewards. I was delighted with that."
Carter-Vickers and fellow-debutant Jota also came in for praise after strong first showings at Celtic Park.
"I thought both were excellent," Postecoglou continued.
"We've got to keep things in check in terms of how much progress we're making because guys are still making debuts.
"Jota had some really bright spots and I think it'll do him the world of good."
As for the surprise departure of chief executive Dom McKay after just two months in the role, Postecoglou wasn't drawn.
The Aussie coach says his exit wasn't a distraction and is simply focused on doing his job for Celtic.
He said: "My focus is what I need to do - which is to continue to build a football club and team for this great institution.
"I'll always deal what I feel is best for each situation.
"Getting a squad together has been the No 1 priority and now we have an opportunity to build a structure around it."
