Ange Postecoglou given Celtic warning as former Scotland star baffled by fan support tells manager to 'get his act together'

Former Scotland goalkeeper Alan Rough admits he doesn't understand the support for Ange Postecoglou as he tells the Celtic manager to "get his act together".

The Australian has proved hugely popular since his appointment, with his straight-talking style and eye-catching approach winning hearts and minds.

However, the Parkhead club have lost all of their away games in the Premiership so far, with Postecoglou making the worst start to a league campaign in over 20 years.

And while supporters have bought in to 'Ange-ball', rough feels a reckoning will come if Rangers further stretch their lead.

Speaking on PLZ he said: "I think he’s very fortunate. I don’t know what he’s done to get a lot of the support.

“They’ve all bought into it. It is going to take time but it’s ok saying that - if you continually lose games, people lose patience.

“And winning games stops that.

“He really has to get his act together.

“They’re still not a settled side. They’re still not a settled back four. They’re still not a settled midfield.

“You don’t know who’s playing up front, you don’t know who’s playing out wide.

“At this stage of the season you should know, eleven or thirteen players who are going to be in your first team.

“They’re the ones that should be playing week in week out and that is not the case and that’s why you’re not getting any consistency.”
