Ange Postecoglou bristles at Odsonne Edouard Celtic transfer poser as he tells reporter 'it's not a question for me'

Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou has shrugged off any questions over Odsonne Edouard 's future in a spiky post-match interview.

The Frenchman netted his first goal of the season as he came off the bench against Dundee to score from the spot.

However, the striker has lost his starting place in the team to Kyogo Furuhashi with reports claiming Brighton and Southampton are ramping up interest in the striker.

The former Paris Saint-German player is in the final 12 months of his deal and is expected to leave Celtic Park this summer.

With speculation reaching fever pitch over the future of Edouard, Postecoglou was asked by BBC Sportsound if the player has told him he wants to leave.

Postecoglou shut down the talking point as he kept the focus on the Dark Blue's demolition to kick-start their Premiership campaign.

"I haven't had that discussion with him.

"It's not a discussion I'm going to have with players.

"If they don't want to be a part of what happened today, there's nothing I can do to convince them.

"That's a question for Odsonne, it's not a question for me."

Edouard hit 22 goals in 40 appearances last season and has notched more than 20 in each of the past three campaigns during a trophy-laden time in Glasgow's east end.
