Anfield's amazing response to Premier League disappointment as Man City beat Liverpool to title

Liverpool missed out on the Premier League title following Manchester City's 4-1 win over Brighton which saw them crowned English champions for the second consecutive season.

Sadio Mane scored a brace as Jurgen Klopp's side saw out a 2-0 triumph over Wolves at Anfield.

Following the final whistle Liverpool supporters reacted to finishing runners-up on 97 points.

Fans inside the stadium let off flares to celebrate an historic campaign which saw them beat just once.

Videos from the ground show supporters singing 'Allez Allez Allez', and defiant chants of 'We Shall Not Be Moved' also rang out from the Kop.

Anfield has been a fortress for the Reds, as they remain unbeaten at home for over two years.

Liverpool supporters will now look forward to the Champions League final on June 1.

Klopp's men will travel to Madrid to take on Tottenham in the hope they can end their season as champions of Europe.
