AnEsonGib knocks Austin McBroom down FIVE times en-route to KO win

AnEsonGib set up a potential fight with KSI by dropping Austin McBroom FIVE times en-route to a stoppage victory.

The Saudi Arabian-born Brit had to climb off the canvas in the first round when McBroom put him down with a right hand, but it was all Gib once the bell sounded for the second. McBroom had fallen victim to his own success in the first as he continued to look for the same shot that earned him first professional knockdown, and Gib's experience began to show as the pair continued to trade blows.

McBroom began to tire under the unrelenting pressure of his rival, with the fight swinging Gib's way in the third round. The rivals traded blows early in the round, but it was the Brit whose power won out as they landed simultaneously and the American hit the deck. But instead of clinching in an effort to get himself back to the corner, McBroom kept fighting, which cost him another knockdown right before the bell.

Unfortunately for McBroom, who had started with such success, he couldn't get his legs back under him in the fourth and Gib had him down for a third time. He continued to get up and answer referee Jack Reiss' instructions even when he was dropped again towards the middle of the round, insisting he was okay to continue.

But it was just a matter of time before Gib landed the fight-ending blow, which he did with a big right hand which sent McBroom clattering to the canvas for a fifth and final time. The winner of tonight's bout was pre-emptively called out by KSI after his double-header of KOs last month, but with their close friendship well documented, it remains to be seen whether the two Brits clash in January.

Who should Gib fight next? Let us know in the comments section below

"I flew all the way to England, all the way to America to KO the CEO," said Gib. "That's what I came to do; all respect to Austin McBroom; I respect him for inviting him to the first Social Gloves, and this Social Gloves. Without him i wouldn't have my redemption story so all respect to him.

"I've got my revenge,I've got my redemption; I've been working so hard in the gym, I'm going to keep going and I'm looking forward to my next fight. Right now, whatever makes money, make sense. We'll see what opponent comes my way and we'll see what the future holds."
