Andy Walker criticises "absolutely outrageous' behaviour as bottle thrown at celebrating Celtic players during Aberdeen win

Aberdeen could be in hot water after a bottle was thrown at Celtic players celebrating their late winner.

Portuguese winger Jota hit the net for the Hoops with just six minutes left on the clock to earn all three points at Pittodrie.

But as Ange Postecoglou’s jubilant players celebrated in front of the Merkland Stand a missile was thrown towards them.

Sky Sports co-commentator Andy Walker hit out and said: “We talk about fan behaviour. Look at this.

“Celebration from the Celtic players and then you get that object there. Throwing a plastic bottle at these players. Absolutely outrageous.”

There were a number of missile-throwing incidents in Scottish football a couple of seasons which caused controversy former Celtic winger Scott Sinclair targeted.

The Dons could now find themselves under investigation by the SPFL over the incident to compound their miserable afternoon.

Celtic picked up their first Scottish Premiership away win since February with Jota’s goal coming after Lewis Ferguson cancelled out Kyogo Furuhashi’s early opener.

Stephen Glass has now failed to win any of his last nine games in all competitions - losing seven in that horror run.
