Andy Ruiz Jr has announced that he's looking to fights some of the biggest names in the heavyweight division.
The Mexican has set his sights on a blockbuster fight for the heavyweight championship against Tyson Fury - calling out the Gypsy King.
Ruiz has only fought once since his defeat to Anthony Joshua in their rematch after ending the Brit's unbeaten streak in 2019.
He made a return to the ring in 2021 - defeating Chris Arreola on a points decision - and has now confirmed that he'll be fighting again within the next few months.
Ruiz is weighing up his options for a fight, with his original preferred fight of Adam Kownacki now looking unlikely after back-to-back defeats for the Polish fighter.
He said: "Happy new year, excited to get back in the ring this year. Fight date coming soon."
The 32-year-old has previously name-checked Fury, Deontay Wilder, Oleksandr Usyk and Dillian Whyte as potential opponents when speaking about his options on the Last Stand Podcast, as well as suggesting a trilogy fight with Joshua.
Just last month, Fury's American promoter Bob Arum revealed a fight with his client could happen.
Arum told talkSPORT: "If we can’t come to a deal with Dillian Whyte, we’ll do a fight for the Ring Magazine belt and the ‘lineal’ title and we’ll pick another opponent.
"We’ve got to get Tyson back in the ring by the end of March - Frank [Warren] and I are determined to come to him with an opponent that’s acceptable and we’d love to do that fight in Cardiff.
“Andy Ruiz Jr is a possibility."
