Andy Robertson would 'love to pull on the Celtic top' if he doesn't get the chance to retire at Liverpool

Andy Robertson insists he wants to retire at Liverpool but hasn’t ruled out joining Celtic at the end of his career.

The Scotland international is a boyhood Celtic fan having played for the Glasgow giants at youth level before being released.

Now established as one of the best left-backs in Europe, Robertson says he would love to see out the remainder of his career at Anfield but failing that, would relish the chance to walk out at Parkhead.

Speaking on That Peter Crouch Podcast, Robertson said: “If you asked me now what I’d want to do, I’d love to retire at Liverpool of course, but you know how hard it is to play at the highest of levels until you’re 35-36… I’d love to pull on the Celtic top and walk out at Parkhead.

"Do I want to go back at one point to even just live? Yeah, maybe.”
