Andy Robertson's walk of shame and other moments missed from Tottenham vs Liverpool

Liverpool suffered a blow in the Premier League title race as they dropped two points against Tottenham.

Heung-Min Son scored a late equaliser to secure a 2-2 draw for the home side in what was a frantic affair in north London.

Harry Kane was back to his best after a horror run of form as he put Spurs in front.

Diogo Jota got the Reds back on level terms before the break, however, and Andy Robertson looked as if he had completed the turnaround with a close-range header.

But the full-back let his side down as he was sent off moments later as the spoils would be shared.

There was so a lot of action to digest - here are a few moments missed from the Premier League clash.

Kane relief

Spurs came flying out the blocks and it was Harry Kane who opened the scoring with a sublime finish.

Tanguy Ndombele played the striker through on goal as he would fire a low strike past Allison.

It's been a frustrating season for Kane who has suffered a hangover from Euro 2020 and the transfer saga involving Manchester City.

But you can't keep a good man down for long as he finally ended his drought with a vintage finish.

He clearly loves facing Liverpool as he became the highest scorer in this fixture with seven ahead of Robbie Fowler.

And the relief poured out of the England striker in his celebration as he hopes to finally get his season on the right track.

Kane gets lucky

It was evident emotions were still running high for Kane as he lunged in on Andy Robertson not long after.

He received a booking but he was lucky to escape a red as it was s dangerously high challenge.

Luckily for Robertson, he seen it coming and pulled out of it but that doesn't excuse it.

Allison's wonder save

Dele Alli showed signs of life against Liverpool after a long spell in the wilderness.

The playmaker's movement caused the visitors plenty of issues as he found himself in promising areas.

He perhaps didn't have the killer final ball, however, as Spurs failed to extend their lead.

At one point, it seemed as if he had missed a sitter as he was put through on goal as his shot went wide.

But Allison actually got a touch to it somehow as he diverted it past the post, although it was impossible to realise that at the time. An amazing save.

Roberton's walk of shame

Andy Robertson was sent off for a wild challenge on Emersen Royal after VAR intervened.

The full-back was given a yellow but it was upgraded to a red after the referee was told to give it a second look.

The challenge sparked an angry reaction from Spurs players as the two sides had to be separated.

And the Scotland captain knew exactly what he had done as he barely disputed Paul Tierney's decision.

Robertson sauntered off as slow as he could and he could have no complaints, but he will feel aggrieved Kane didn't suffer the same fate in the second half when he was taken out by the Spurs star.
