Andy Robertson's 'need a job' tweet from 2012 goes viral after Liverpool win Premier League title

What a difference eight years make. Especially for newly crowned Premier League champion Andy Robertson.

On Thursday, the Liverpool defender - along with his team-mates - ended a 30-year wait for the club to be named champions of England.

A culmination of a season which could well end in numerous records being broken, Liverpool are both the earliest- and latest-crowned Premier League champions.

Not bad for the first time.

Robertson is one of the biggest success stories on Anfield since joining three years ago as a 23-year-old from Hull City.

But it was five years prior to that when things were not looking as rosy for the young Scot.

On August 18, 2012, Robertson - then in the Queen's Park youth team - tweeted: "life at this age is rubbish with no money #needajob"

Well, he went on to make 34 appearances in the Scottish Third Division that coming season and never looked back.

Now European champion, a Premier League champion and a full Scotland international.
