Andy Robertson has revealed his favourite game was Celtic's win over Manchester United in the Champions League.
The Liverpool full-back has made it no secret he is a massive Hoops fan and used to watch the Parkhead side when he was growing up in Glasgow. Robertson who featured for Jurgen Klopp's side in their 6-2 aggregate loss to Real Madrid will likely lead Scotland out during their two Euro 2024 qualifiers at Hampden later this month against Cyprus and Spain.
Robertson lifted the Champions League trophy with Liverpool back in 2019 when they defeated Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 in Madrid thanks to goals from Mo Salah and Divock Origi. En route to the final the Anfield outfit came from 3-0 down to Barcelona in the first leg of the semi-final to defeat the Catalans 4-3 on aggregate. Robertson was asked on the Kammy & Ben's Proper Football Podcast which game he would love to watch back time and time again - and he chose a memorable night at Parkhead back in 2006 instead of the miracle comeback at Anfield.
Robertson told the podcast: "I think it would either be the Liverpool Barcelona game, or it would be the Celtic Man United game at Parkhead when Nakamura scored the free kick and Artur Boruc it saved the penalty from Louis Saha.
"I was at that game and it was one of my favourite games ever."
Gordon Strachan's Celtic side defeated a Man United outfit managed by Alex Ferguson in the Champions League group stage to advanced to the knockout stages. A free-kick by Shunsuke Nakamura put the Hoops through but they had to weather a late storm when Boruc saved a pen from Saha in the last minute.
