Andy Robertson proves his Celtic superfan status as he trolls Liverpool pal Virgil van Dijk

Celtic diehard Andy Robertson has once again shown his love for the Hoops during a Twitter Q&A session with supporters.

The Liverpool left-back urged fans to #AskRobbo anything they wanted and the Scotland skipper's love for the Premiership champions was clear from the get go.

Twitter user Adam asked the Kop icon what his ultimate football childhood memory was and it didn't take him long to come up with a response.

He said: "Watching Henrik Larsson scoring away to Boavista to put Celtic in to the UEFA Cup Final!."

His shout out to the King of Kings - who scored 242 goals in 315 appearances in green and white - didn't stop there as he named the Swede his favourite all-time player and one of his ultimate dinner guests.

And Robertson also had time to rib Anfield pal and ex-Celtic star Virgil van Dijk as one supporter asked him who got the better of the pair's battle when the 26-year-old was with Dundee United.

He added: "I won the ball, had him in my back pocket all game!"

Robertson came through the Parkhead ranks at youth level before being let go and the rampaging full-back has gone on to have a career to savour.

His eye-catching displays with Queen's Park led him to Dundee United before Hull signed him in the summer of 2014.

And his rise to prominence led him to Anfield in 2018 with the Scottish star now regarded as the finest player in the world in his position.
