Andy Robertson misses out for Scotland as fans left shocked at Steve Clarke's selection

Andy Robertson is out of Scotland's team to face Belgium.

The skipper appears to have picked up a hamstring injury and doesn't take a place on the bench.

It means there's a debut for Kilmarnock left back Greg Taylor but Scotland fans will be surprised to see four other changes to the side.

Neither Celtic winger James Forrest nor Bournemouth star Ryan Fraser are included in the starting line-up while John McGinn is also named on the bench.

Steve Clarke makes a total of five changes to the team that beat Cyprus with Eamonn Brophy also dropping out of the side.

In come Scott McTominay, Johnny Russell, Stuart Armstrong and Oliver Burke as well as Taylor.

And fans weren't impressed by the selection when they took to social media.

One supporter, @cmcpeat79 said: "Good joke. Announce the real line up" while @FFCGav added: "When's the real team lines out?".

@Gunnie85_ added: "Forrest and Fraser on the bench lol our 2 best attacking players" and @HibeeJude said: "No Forrest, Fraser, McGinn, Robertson, Souttar is an absolute howler."

@AlBrown82 said: "Is that the joke lineup? Where's our 3 best players?"

@Fraser_92 added: "No Robertson or Fraser is bizarre. Robertson must be injured but surprised Fraser has came out given his performances defensively for Bournemouth previously" while @CTMazza04 said: "Dear me. I'll take a 5-0 defeat now"
