Andy Robertson was 'apoplectic' following his clash with Constantine Hatzidakis during Liverpool’s game against Arsenal.
The incident occurred at half-time of the Premier League clash at Anfield. The Gunners led 2-1 at the time thanks to goals from Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus.
The full-back was seen approaching the official, who then appeared to raise his arm towards the defender. Liverpool players surrounded referee Paul Tierney following the clash, with Robertson receiving a yellow card.

And speaking during the interval, Sky Sports' touchline reporter Geoff Shreeves revealed that the Scotland international was furious with what happened and openly claimed that he had been elbowed in the throat by Hatzidakis.
“Andy Robertson was absolutely apoplectic, stunned even,” Shreeves said.
“He said ‘the linesman has just elbowed me in the throat’ – Jordan Henderson was well aware of it and led the remonstrations with referee Paul Tierney and after that they got taken away. Extraordinary scenes.”
Commentating on the incident, Gary Neville said: “I've never seen an official raise an elbow towards a player. I think he'll be in a lot of trouble when the game ends. We've got a brilliant second half to look forward to.”
