Andy Reid, Brett Veach to speak with media during 2019 NFL Combine

The Chiefs haven’t been quite as active ahead of the 2019 NFL Combine as they were last season. There were still a lot of questions about pending trades of both Alex Smith and Marcus Peters. Now the Chiefs’ brass will have to answer some different questions when they face the media in Indianapolis.

Chiefs coach Andy Reid and general manager Brett Veach will speak to the media this week at the NFL Combine. Reid will be at the podium on Wednesday at 2:15 p.m. CT, while Veach will talk Thursday at 10 a.m. CT. This is essentially the same schedule as last year, but keep in mind that all dates and times at the Combine are subject to change. Some of the press conferences are broadcast on NFL Network, and videos tend to appear online on NFL.com shortly after.

Reid will take the podium for the first time since the announcement of the Chiefs’ new defensive staff. He’ll likely field a lot of questions about Steve Spagnuolo, and the group of coaches he’s assembled.

Veach will have a lot of topics to cover, but at the forefront will be personnel decisions surrounding current players on the Chiefs’ roster. Dee Ford and the franchise tag, Justin Houston’s contract, and Eric Berry’s health are currently weighing on the minds of Chiefs Kingdom. Of course, he’ll also have to answer some questions about the Combine and the 2019 NFL draft too.

If there are any particular questions you’d like us to ask Reid or Veach at the Combine, let us know on Twitter or Facebook.
