Andy Murray will “put his heart and soul” into winning his battle to return following hip surgery, according to mother Judy.
Murray had his second hip operation in a year after his five-set Australian Open defeat to Roberto Bautista Agut in January.
The 31-year-old said he had no idea if he would play at the top level again.
But on Tuesday mother Judy said: “He is doing pretty well.
“He is in a good place mentally and we just keep our fingers crossed.
"If anybody can do it, he can because he will put his heart and soul into it.
"Everyone close to him knew how much pain he has been in for a long time and what he is putting his body through.”
