Andy Murray in most awkward interview ever as silence is sparked after being told 'everything's big about you'

Andy Murray has left one interviewer at the Australian Open in a gaze of awkward silence after his epic victory down under.

The Scots legend is at the first major tournament of this years tennis calendar and he launched a stunning comeback against Thanasi Kokkinakis to secure progression into the third round. He was two sets down in the game but Murray showed his typical courage and guts to muster up a fightback and eventually claimed victory in what ranks as the longest match of his career.

But after the marathon effort that went deep into the Melbourne early morning, things got awkward in an interview broadcast by Eurosport. The former Wimbledon champion was asked, 'How did you do that' with regards his performance and replied with 'a big heart'. The follow-up was 'That's not all that's big on you. Everything is.' And then Murray left his interviewer speechless with a response that prompted seconds of silence.

It's a moment that has left fans in stitches as he marches on into the next phase of the competition. He said: "Not sure my wife agrees with that."

Murray won 4-6 6-7 (4-7) 7-6 (7-5) 6-3 7-5 on a night of huge physical toil and mental endurance. The second-round match started at 22:20 and lasted five hours and 45 minutes.
