Andy Murray has been drawn against his fellow Briton Liam Broady in the first round of Wimbledon.
Murray has never before faced Broady, who is ranked 234th in the world and was given a wild card to enter the tournament.
Nick Kyrgios is a potential last-16 opponent and Murray is scheduled to meet Stan Wawrinka in the semi-finals.
The third seed Roger Federer, who demolished Murray in the last four 12 months ago, is in the same half of the draw as Novak Djokovic, meaning the Scot cannot meet either until the final.
Federer, who missed the French Open through injury, plays Argentina’s Guido Pella in the first round.
It represents a relatively kind draw for Murray, who cruised past Wawrinka in the French Open semi-finals last month and is yet to lose to Kyrgios in four competitive meetings.
The British No2, Aljaz Bedene, plays the world No10 Richard Gasquet of France but the wildcard James Ward’s hopes of progressing look to be virtually nil after he drew the defending champion and top seed Djokovic in round one.
The British women’s No1 Johanna Konta, who has been upgraded to No16 in the seedings after the withdrawal of Victoria Azarenka, has been drawn against Puerto Rico’s Mónica Puig.
Konta, ranked 18th in the world, has met Puig once, in last year’s Nottingham grass-court tournament where the British player won.
The British No2, Heather Watson, takes on Germany’s Annika Beck, ranked six places above her at No44, while the defending champion Serena Williams will face a qualifier or lucky loser.
The woman she beat in last year’s final, Garbiñe Muguruza who is fresh from winning the French Open against Williams, faces Italy’s Camila Giorgi in round one.
For the other Britons, Kyle Edmund has a tough opener against France’s Adrian Mannarino and if he wins will face the winner of Djokovic and Ward.
Alex Ward plays Belgium’s world No11 David Goffin, Brydan Klein takes on the French grass-court specialist Nicolas Mahut and Dan Evans takes on Germany’s Jan-Lennard Struff.
Laura Robson, a wildcard and desperate to kick-start her resurgence after injury, was handed a difficult opener against the Australian Open champion Angelique Kerber.
