Andy Murray and wife Kim Sears welcome fourth child

Andy Murray and his wife Kim Sears have welcomed their fourth child together.

The couple have become parents again and the tennis star decided to pull out of the upcoming ATP Tour event in Dubai so he can stay at home with the new bundle of joy.

The couple have yet to confirm the news and no further details have been given about the couple's happy baby news.

The news was announced by a reporter for The Times, who revealed on Twitter that Murray had decided to withdraw from the event to tend to his family.

Murray had been planning to travel to Dubai for the tournament, which kicks off next week, but he's believed to be hoping he'll be able to make it to the Miami Open later this month instead.

It's the latest disappointment for Murray fans as he previously had to withdraw from the Australian Open after testing positive for Covid-19.

The couple tied the knot in 2015 and already have three children together- Sophia, Edie and Teddy - as well as the new baby.

Daughter Sophia is the eldest of the Murray children. She was born in early 2016 a year after the pair tired the knot.

The tennis star is known for keeping his family life private, and the couple never publicly confirmed baby number four was on the way.

Murray has been sidelined due to injury problems which came close to ending his tennis career.

When the couple were expecting their third child back in 2019, Murray joked he needed to get back to touring because his family kept expanding.

Speaking at the time, he said: "I've got two young kids and a third one coming. I’ll have three kids under four years old.

"When I've been off the tour the last few years my family has got bigger.

"I need to get on the road so we’re done before it gets out of control!"
