The lineup for the annual grudge match between arguably the two best historical basketball conferences has been announced, and the Ohio State basketball team is a part of a big one in.
The Buckeyes take on the North Carolina Tar Heels in the Dean Dome on December 4th and it should be a compelling matchup of a young and talented Ohio State team vs. one of the blue-bloods of the sport. Ohio State has a lot of measuring stick non-conference games, but maybe none will be as important as the trip to Tobacco Road.
And BTN’s Andy Katz agrees. He has singled out the OSU vs. Carolina game as one of the top two matchups of the ACC/Big Ten Challenge. He’s of course excited about the Duke and Michigan State tussle in East Lansing, but right behind that? Yep. The Buckeyes and Tar Heels.
It should be a good one, and we can hardly wait.
