Andy Katz predicts Cassius Winston will win Big Ten Player of the Year (again)

Andy Katz gave his most recent slate of conference predictions this week and a number of the Big Ten predictions were, naturally, Michigan State basketball related. The most interesting prediction of the bunch was Katz’s prediction that Cassius Winston will repeat as Big Ten Player of the Year.

This would be quite a feat for Winston as he would be the first player to repeat winning the award since… Mateen Cleaves (’98, ’99).

Katz also declared that two of the most impactful non-conference games for the Big Ten this year will be Michigan State’s matchups with Kentucky and Seton Hall.
