Andy Halliday sends Ryan Kent transfer message to Rangers as anxious wait continues

Andy Halliday has joined the masses of Rangers fans who have one simple message for the club: "Announce Ryan Kent ."

The Liverpool winger's next move looks set to be the transfer saga of the summer but Steven Gerrard is fighting to bring him back to Ibrox.

Leeds United and Aston Villa are also in the mix but the Ibrox boss' ties to Anfield could prove decisive.

Supporters are getting anxious, however, and it seems Halliday is no different.

The midfielder is a Rangers diehard and seemingly isn't immune to the stresses and strains of following your team throughout the transfer window, despite his privileged position.

A quick glance at any social media post from the club shows the Ibrox faithful have only one thing on their minds.

And Halliday made sure he added to the clamour to see Kent back in a blue shirt next season with an amusing Instagram post.

The latest on Kent is that the 22-year-old is waiting to find out what Liverpool's intentions for him are.

Rangers have held talks and the decision could ultimately rest with Anfield boss Jurgen Klopp as to whether Kent will be sent on-loan again or sold permanently.

Meanwhile, Sheyi Ojo has agreed a loan switch from Merseyside to Glasgow.

The winger is set to join Gerrard's squad for pre-season after a season-long loan from Anfield was given the green light.

England U-21 international Ojo has had previous loans at Fulham, Wolves, Wigan and Stade de Reims in France.

The move is understood to have no bearing on Rangers' desire for Kent to return.
