Andy Gray slams 'punchless' Newcastle United and believes Salomon Rondon will be unhappy with tactics

Football pundit Andy Gray believes Salomon Rondon will be frustrated after the lack of service during Newcastle United's inept display away to Arsenal.

The beIN Sports analyst watched on as Rondon fired in Newcastle's only shot on target and the Magpies struggled to create good chances at the Emirates Stadium.

In Gray's opinion, United's defensive stance made things "too easy" for Arsenal as they romped to their 10th home win in a row in the Premier League.

Gray, who scored 185 career goals, said: "Newcastle were disappointing. They were like they were at the start of the season - flat, and never offered a thing in attack.

"They were punchless. I felt for Salomon Rondon , I have played up there and I know what's it like going to these grounds and not getting a kick.

"That's what Rondon would feel like.

"Arsenal were never threatened. It was too easy for them."
